kitten wanted

hi i was just wondering if any one knows any kittens going for sale or free to a good home in or around lincoln, due to the fact that my little boys 7 month old kitten was knocked down and killed in front of our house.
my little boy is only 2 and he keeps standing at the door calling for it and when it dosnt come he asks where it is and its breaking my heart cause i dont know how too explain that its not coming back.

A lot of times you can find free kittens on Craiglist (www.craigslist.org - and then select the location nearest you). Check the "Free" section. You could also check with your local humane society. You usually have to pay a small fee there, but it isn't much, and you'll help rescue an animal that might otherwise be put to sleep.

If not what is your general area, and location?

I would check different types of animal Shelters, especially the No Kill Animal Shelters, usually end up full fast.
