Snack time is Movie Time too...What do you snack on while watching?

Everyone likes popcorn during a movie it seems. And at the theater there are tons of great snacks from which to choose. Of course, I like popcorn and naturally I also like some candy at the theater. When I am at home though, I really enjoy boiled peanuts. Popcorn with m&m's mixed in makes a really good snack too. Gives you a great salt/sugar taste. You should try that sometime. But, my favorite is Cheese It crackers with Cream Cheese spread on them...mmmmmmmm. I thought everyone at them this way because we always snacked on them as kids. As I grew older I found that not to be the case though. You should give it a try, it's addicting and soooo good. Cheese Its and Cream Cheese, what a combo!

Well buldwgz, though I normally snack on pretty much anything I can find, I really like a couple of grilled cheese sandwiches while I am kicked back. Of course, I also like grilled cheese sandwiches any other time as well. To me, its like heaven in sandwich form.

Heaven in sandwich form, huh, Jer31558? Sounds like you like them pretty much. Now, if I could only make a donut sandwich...

I am sure that you can make one, maybe add a little catchup as a flavor enhancement.

I used to hate popcorn of any kind until recently. I always tend to grab handfuls of my husband's popcorn. He gets soooo mad. Now, I can eat probably 2 handfuls and that's all I have to say about that...

Well, maybe its time to start popping even more so you can both enjoy. Thanks for the response.

In the theatre, I like a cold bottle of water. My daughter likes popcorn. My hubby likes a box of candy. At home we microwave some popcorn. Or my daughter enjoys a mix of dry cheerios and raisins. Its a healthy alternative.

The candy at the theaters has always been the same, so sometimes I like to change it up a bit. When I go to the movies I like getting gummy candies because I find that it strangely keeps me twice as focused on the movie. I've never really liked theater popcorn because they drown the popcorn in weird tasting butter. I haven't had nachos in years, so I think that will be something I need to get again. So, mostly I eat candy rather than popcorn. And sneaking in fast food is a must for me.

Sneaking in fast food is a good one for a lot of people. I usually like to just snack though, I enjoy food so much it seems that I may lose track and focus on the food instead...lol. Maybe I will take some donuts in the theater next time...mmmm. Thanks for the response Xdrowninghavocx.

I eat all sorts of things watching them at home, but my theater choices are usually popcorn, Junior mints or some other candy. At home I've been known to fix noodle ramen on a commercial break and then high-tail it back to my room (luckily not far from the kitchen), chomp my dinner during movies, eat pizza, and a huge-o Hershey bar. I vary my choices. -Lol- \m/ Becky Ann

Variety is the spice of life, or so I have heard. It can be difficult to time the commercials, but it makes the snack even better when it works out..LOL, thanks for the response BeckyAnn.

I've took the food down one break, then popped it on the stove/in the neuker on the next one. Then ran while the movie was in the first five minutes. -Lol- \m/ Becky Ann

Popcorn is the main snack when watching a movie at home or any movie that i think is really good. At home watching movies is so much better than going out to the movies. With ppv it is something good.

Yeah, twallace, popcorn is hard to beat. Thanks for the response. I enjoy staying home more than going out to a movie too...more freedom and you can usually pause it.
