1200 AD - The root is heathen, say this prayer
1500 AD - Prayer is superstition, drink this elixer
1800 AD - The elixer is snake oil, take this pill
1900 AD - The pill is inefective, take this antibiotic
2000 AD - The antibiotic is artificial, here, why dont you take this root.
