Intel or AMD?

I've been an AMD fan for a while now but since AMD bombed against Intel's core 2 quad I've started asking myself.... which of the two makes the best processors?

Intel core 2 processors are really good ,i have a intel core 2 quad q9650 which performs very well when in it comes for playing games ..

I am an AMD fan fan but if you see discussions where intel clearly emerges as victor then it is not just because it is popular but it is the fact at the moment.
AMD release of Phenom processors were a disaster and they were overpriced and under performed. Well, I won't go much into this but for the moment till AMD brings something better and new Intel C2D is the way to go.

I'm a big fan of AMD. I have an AMD 64 but i think currently the best bang for the buck is definitely the intel core 2's.

Recently I check the survey which is better Intel or AMD, well the in terms of performance AMD is the best but wont you believe that the Intel win for that survey its because Intel is more popular than the AMD so not all times quality will always succeed sometimes popularity does. And it is proven in many aspect in out lives.
