Are you afraid of your wife or vice versa!!

In some families i have known, have noticed that wife is less dominant and afraid of her spouse! In some families, opposite is the case! Why people try to be dominant within their family itself? In my case, i never want to be dominant over others! How about you? Are you afraid of your wife or vice versa?

I was never afraid of my husband nor he of me, but my mom was scared of my dad all her married life, he did have a bad habit of throwing temper tantrums over the sillest of things. mymom was very even tempered but scared of him altho he never physcially attacked her. his were nasty' verbal attacks that would sear a peron so much worse than even bruises. i used to wish she would fight back. It might have stopped him, who knows.

My husband used to be short tempered and i used to be scared of him when i was newly married. but now i got used to it and there is no feelings of that sort now. Maybe i got used to it.
