How to use "blogs" in mylot?

When open mylot, i can see, "home", "interests", "discussions", "blogs", "messages", "friends", "photos" etc.in mylot. I've used all of them except blogs, can anyone kindly tell me something about using it. It seems that we can't blog here, but have to add a alreday-owned blog. Am i right? Also, are there earnings when my blogs is commented. **Enjoy life~~**
