What Would you Do if NANNY Spanked Your Kid?

When I was pregnant with my firstborn, I saw this news on tv, about a nanny who spanked a 3 year old kid. Not only that, she grabbed the kid on both shoulders and threw him hard on the sofa. The poor child's body bounced on the sofa and landed his head and back on the floor. Of course, it doesn't end there. When the kid didn't stop crying (because maybe he was in pain), the nanny, not yet satisfied with what she's done, grabbed the child's arm and pointed a finger,warning him not to say anything to his parents or he'll get another beating..
Luckily, the parents already had some tips from the neighboring apartment the day before, that they always hear their son crying his lungs out.So that day, when they left for work, they placed hidden cameras.
When they got home, the nanny told them that the child fell from the sofa and hit his head and back that's why he had bruises all over.They went to their room to check the recorded video and was terribly horrified by what had happened to their son.
If you found out that your nanny even lift a finger to hurt your kid, what is the worst thing you could ever do to her?

Nobody has any right to spank the kids (except parents, in a right way, when disciplining them) If Nanny find the behavior of a kid to be bad, she should bring it to the parent's attention and let the parents do the disciplining. I would sue her if I ever found out she's even lifting a finger to hurt my kid.

I would have her arrested,and fire her.I would do all that I could to blackball her. A criminal record of child abuse and a call to DCYF to make sure they are aware of what she did would at least limit her chances of finding another job in child care.I would also find out what the law was ,if I could post what I filmed of her on the web, or let the media get a hold of it.totaly ruin her reputation. Beyond beating her myself which would then land me in jail.I would hope I would be able to take her chances of doing this to another child away.

That's one reason why I really don't want to leave my baby to a nanny. Most nanny does not care to other kids. For me it's really not the right of the nanny to spank a kid the only situation I will allow a nanny to spank my baby is when my baby do something wrong. Like if my baby throw a plate in her face then I'll allow her to spank my baby but just once and it will be on my baby's buttocks.
