Commercials during Lost

So, last night's season finale of LOST was supposed to be two hours....I have a feeling it was only an hour and 15 minutes and the rest of that time was filled with commercials!!! I mean really, the show was interrupted about every 10 minutes with at least 5 minutes of ads. During one break I was able to brush and floss my teeth, during another, so the dishes. I guess it was nice to be able to multi-task and get those things done, but I wouldh ave liked more show, less commercials. Did any one else feel the like the ads show were a bit excessive?

I definately feel like there are too many commercials on TV. I can't tell you how hard it is for me to watch a show because just as it gets interesting, they go to a commercial. The tricky thing is that I am not against commercials entirely. I realize that they need the funds from the commercials to pay for the shows themselves. I jst feel like there are just way too many of them. And hour show now a days maybe has about 42 minutes of actual show. The worst part about Lost is that they knew it was going to be a big deal, so they almost treated it like a superbowl. Commercial interruptions every 10 mins becuase they new that the fans would deal with it because it is such a popular show and the fans are really dedicated. So in a way, it could almost feel like they were taking advantage. Not cool, not cool at all.

I agree completely. They're definitely cramming it full of commercials. I walked away and came back here and did a whole bunch of mylot posts in between. Far too long. Especially when we're all so eager to see what happens.
