Hello everybody, i was on my way home last night and i found a bird on the sidewalk , i am not sure what kind of a bird but it doesen't look like a baby because he's all feathered and i don't think he's an adult either because he can't fly too high and far. At first i thought he was injured so i took him home with me but he seems just fine , i let me free in my house and i fed him with worms (i have them for my fish tank). So what should i do?i don't think i should let him free for now , but how do i feed him ?any advice will be appreciated thanks a lot

Hi. Do you gave whole worms? maybe is that. Try to cut it and give to him. Try to give chopped fruits too and little seeds. And let the nature act.

It could be a young bird that hasn't learned to fly yet. They have feathers and this is the time of year for them to be around. Normally wild birds won't eat or drink when caught so, if this is what your bird is doing, you should probably let him go or take him to a wild animal sanctuary, if you have one, because he will die without food and water.

Thanks for your answer, but i don't think there's a wild animal sanctuary where i live. But i was able to give him some food this morning so hopefully he will survive.

That's so nice you have a bird. In fact when my son was born, one day my husband went out to buy a scale as we wanted to know how much the weight our baby had. When he returned, he had a bird with a cage and he told me that he saw a bird in the street. It became so scared as there were so many cars there. And my husband picked it up and it became a member of our family. I love China

Did you happen to look up where you found him? He might have fallen out of his nest or his mother might be teaching her babies to fly. You might want to go and take a look and see if you can find his nest and put him back in it!
