There has to be a couple people in here that have seen this movie. First off, let me say i love Marilyn Manson and i think their portrayal and connection of the artist to the massacre is not fair and quite disturbing. For those of you who havent seen the movie, its called "bowling for Columbine". Its about the Columbine school shooting that took place a few years ago. Your probably thinking what does this have to do with Marilyn Manson?? Well, in the movie, they made a reference saying that the students involved in starting the massacre were fans of Marilyn Manson. They went on to say that the massacre and the students that performed the act were acting out because of their choice of music. I dont think its fair that the media and government can go on saying that all of this happens because of the music. I dont quite recall if they ever found out the REAL story to the columbine shooting, but to blame it on music? Some people might see manson as having some "rough around the edges" lyrics, but Come ON! i highly doubt that they listened to ONLY marilyn Manson. They never heard any other music or listened to any other bands. I think its crap that they right off the bat, pin point manson for government problems having to do with teenagers. Yes, music influences people, but theres no hidden message telling us to kill people when were listening to it. thats your own decision. Any other views on the subject??

I suspect it had far more to do with merciless bullying of those that don't fit in being allowed to carry on by the school, than what music people listen to.

Im sure it did. they never truly got the "whole story" but i never heard one thing about a connection to music until this movie came out in theaters.
