Nik & Claudia

Hey Eb--ok, up front, I don't put a whole lotta stock in that site for spoilers, because, quite frankly, she has just been plain wrong many times in the past. That said, I do anticipate, and am excited about alot more interaction between Nik and Claudia, upsetting Lulu and Johnny. Can't wait---but also taking a 'wait and see approach here' From DD:(just to add a little to what's already been posted) Both Daytime Confidential and Soap Dish attracted my attention with the buzz surrounding talk of at least four annoyed (jealous much?) cast members toying with the idea of leaving for greener pastures, including two veteran actresses (one older, one younger). An actor already tried out for a primetime job. The main problem eating at the cast is the tension and friction between the warring executive producer and head writer post-writers' strike, because of the focus on Claudia and redeeming her. This part comes from Chat up's May 20th SD post: "The HW blames the EP for everything going wrong during the strike and making a mess he can't fix. The EP thinks the HW is undermining her. She also doesn't agree with his rehab program but he claims it's her fault he needs one to begin with." A lot happened during and after this writers' strike, good, bad or mediocre. It shows in the stories that have disappeared, weakened or been on hold, as well as the character changes in Claudia and Ian, notably. During the strike, Claudia came off like gangbusters and was made intentionally vixenish, with a touch of humanity through her love for Johnny. Now, she's in Nikolas's orbit and softening somewhat, perhaps even in a romance.
