Have you ever had a bad week on MyLot?

This past week (starting last Saturday) has been very difficult for me, on MyLot. I've tried to keep my head up. But, it's hard to do. It all started last Saturday, when someone made a very rude and insensitive comment behind my back on my discussions. I am sure they did not think I would even read their comments. But, that's the thing about saying something publicly. Once you click the send button, it's out there for the world to read.
If I've seemed on edge this past week, it's because of the various pressures that are going on, here at MyLot, behind the scenes. Some weeks are that way I guess. I suppose it's not always going to be possible to entirely avoid negative people on MyLot or anywhere.
And, I wanted to apologize to all my MyLot friends once again, if I sounded short or irritated in any way in the past week. That was not my heart's intention. I do not mean offense or ill will to any of you.
I hope that this upcoming weekend and weeks will be much brighter. You know me! I'm a happy and positive person in real life and I hope that shows in my posts. If it hasn't been evident in the past week, then it's not your fault. It's simply private stuff that I'm dealing with. So, I hope that I did not offend my friends here on MyLot. And, if I did, please accept my heart-felt appologies and promise that I will try to do better.
I want Mylot to be a happy and fun place to be. I will try to show that in future posts.

It is sad that you feel you have had a difficult week. I do hope the weekend and the new month will change the way you feel. MyLot is generally a happy and fun place.
I have enjoyed taking part in some of your discussions over the past week and I really don't take notice of personal comments, because that is not what discussions are for. Different or opposite views ought to be discussed without any personal criticism.

You are such a kind person for saying so! Perhaps, it is just an internal feeling that I've had this past week. Maybe it was not a tangible thing that shown outwardly. I have had happy moments this past week on Mylot.
But, I was concerned that others perceived my unhappiness and was affected by it. And, I did not want to do that. I didn't want to bum anyone out.
I have enjoyed the many MyLot member responses, received during the past week, including yours! Be well and thank you for making my day brighter.

I know after my discussion I started last week. I am done with starting discussions for a little while. I agree about rude people on this site. I try to inore them. Of course I replied back . I just don't understand why some people so that to other people in here in mylot. I deleted a person from my friends list from the messed up and rude response they made. I proberly shouldn't of let it get to me but it did. So I understand how you feel. I thought about not even coming in here for a few days since I didn't make payout this month anyhow.

I felt the same way after the whole thing was over. Why didn't I just ignore that person and move on. I'll never know!

You're so right about that.
It's best just to ignore them and move on.
I've learned my lesson since all this first
started a month ago.
Now it's behind me and I know what to do when
someone starts being mean.
Last night,another member made a point
to drop by my discussion on saving money on gas
and stomp all over me for a question that I asked.
I mean it was just a question, so you'd think they would
give me a little leeway. It was only meant to spur thought and
discussion.
But instead, this person just stomped a mud hole in me with
some elaborate math scheme that was supposed to show how
wrong I was.
I just laughed at the whole thing. It wasn't even worth the time
to argue. Actually, I'm still laughing today at the whole
obsurdity of the comment.
I think the person was just new to MyLot and didn't know better.
You can always tell a newbie to MyLot. They come over from
MySpace and other sites and they have this gigantic chip
on their shoulder. On other sites, nasty behavior is rewarded
and gets attention. When they bring that kind of behavior
to MyLot, it really turns people off.
I hope they realize it's not cool to be mean.

I am sorry to hear that you have had such a bad week. I think that Mylot should be a happy place and a bright spot in our days. Howeveer, I know that some people are rude here and never think about anyone else's feelings and that irritates me as I think that you should show everyone respect. I hope that things get better for you and what ever you are going through goes away soon.

anymore as they are only looking for a fight.

I know this was 3 weeks ago, and things are better I'm sure. I just hate reading this. You are one of the most positive, hard working people here at myLot, not to mention genuine, and often humorous. I enjoy your writing and hope that you continue to post and enjoy yourself here.

I want MyLot to be a fun and happy place to be.
I have since learned to just walk away from bad people
and let them stew in their own juices, instead of confronting
them and trying to explain myself or justify anything.
Such negative people don't deserve my time or effort.
My friends and family deserve my emotional energy, not some
random stranger who wants to be mean.

I am sorry that you have had to deal with someone's behavior towards you and your opinions here at mylot. I can not say that I have had a bad week, but there was one time when a person had responded to one of my discussions and acted rather offensively. I did rate them negatively and indefinitely their response to me was deleted. I feel that they were just going on with their own bad experience, but assumed that it would be that way for everyone and was also making assumptions about me, that was uncalled for and incorrect.

I am sorry that you had to deal with negatively on mylot,and I think everyone has bad days on mylot,and I hope that in the future you have better weeks,lately I have been in a little bit of a slump and not doing as good as I usually do on mylot,but I am trying to do better on here,and I have seen a couple of negative people in my time here on mylot.

Hello my dear beauty queen. I hope that you are ok now after three weeks. I am so sorry to know that you had a bad week at mylot. I don't have such an experience for a long long time though I was once misunderstood for twice, I think, when I was new here, because of my improper words. But I don't blame them because I think that it is because I am not that expert at using the language so freely as I would like to and try to. You know, sometimes it is not easy for me at all when I want to express myself in English. So it is mis-using words that have made two of my initial friends unhappy with me. And I explained back and forth for my having used a wrong word.
Here I would like to tell you how stupid I was to have used the word "retarded love" when I wanted to say "belated love", which is the very reason that caused my initial friend angry with me. It was so hard and difficult a time when I was trying to explain the word misused. But anyway, I am very happy now as I am making great progress in using the words in the right way though sometimes still I cannot use the right word in the right situation.

Hello my dear friend,
I certainly understand what you are talking about.
At times, I am at a loss for the right words and "mispeak"
or type the wrong word and then regret doing so.
Then someone comes along and jumps on me for having said the
wrong thing. It is a sad situation.
There are many here from around the world and not always possible
to translate meanings into English easily. I wish that more members
would be tolerant of our global friends.
I am so sorry that you had to deal with a negative person on
MyLot over such an innocent mistake. It's not fair!
I hope your more recent experiences have been pleasant.
Yes, I am feeling much better since I first posted this.
I was having so much stress that week from a home life situation.
My spouse was told he would be losing his job and we were all worried.
Since then he has been cut back to less than full time, but we
will be fine. We have money in savings and alternate income.
So we are taken care of, financially.
Thankyou for all your concern. It's nice to have such a good friend!

yep for these three weeks I have been fighting shingles
which is a painful viral disease and mylotting and
taking tylenol is all I can do for the pain so have to
keep up a positive attitude or else really suffer. mylotting
has taken my mind off the pain a lot but I hope I do not
show my physical problems in my own responses as I try my
best not to.YOu did not offend us,your posts were always
really good and hope you do not get any more nasty responses
from mean minded people.
