I just heard on the news, they've discovered some new indian tribes that have never been in contact with the modern world. They was seen as they tried to shoot down a plane with bow and arrow. They live between Peru and Brazil, in Amazonas. What do you think about this? It is quite sick, isn't it?

I saw this this morning, I saw some of the pictures on the net. I think thats amazing. I'm sure there's many things that are undiscovered in the Amazon. All over the world as a matter of fact. I wonder if anyone is going to try to make contact with them.

I think we should leave them alone, maybe send someone that could talk to them, dressed the way they do or something. But I guess it should be their initiative to travel out of the "safe" jungle...

I read about this on the BCC news. I looked at the pictures, and it made me wonder how frightened they must have been. The planes flying over and people taking pictures. If there are people undiscovered in the Amazon imagine how many other plants, animals, etc., there are undiscovered. Amazing, isn't it? All the more reason to save the Amazon Rain Forrest!

Yeah, I really hope they stop the people that chop down the wood.. I wonder what they think with.. Ops, wrote wrong in the title... It should be Indians.. But if no one do anything, Amazonas will be gone. The governments down there should do anything about it!

Sick? I'm not sure i understand what way you mean sick. I think its great that there are still tribes in the world who live off the land and don't have all the BS that comes with the modern world. They've clearly survived 'undiscovered' until now and likely have a good life expectancy. They can't miss the technology, because they've never known it and crime is limited to within the tribe ... but what crime. My first thought was .... One of the governments has mocked the place up to spark news coverage and interest. Even if that isn't the case then my concern is that someone/orgs are going to locate them and ruin them either for tourist or entertainment purposes. Will they become like one of those horrendous big brother shows, viewed from a chopper.

I corrected sick in my first response to my topic. I saw that it didn't fit in at all. It would been nice if you read it, but I can give you a brief. I wrote that sick didn't fit in, it should been unbelievable :) Some people from some organizations will try to keep them away from publicity, and stop the Brazilian farmers from chopping down the Rain Forest they live in. I hope they manage to help them. But they said it sure would be more undiscovered tribes around the tribe they just found. If they want to come out from where they live, they'll do it, I don't see why we would have to get them to us..
