She should have known better. She announced it "The birthday party of the year" and about 400 revellers turned up. Many of whom are gate crashers and looted the house. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worldnews/article-1022756/Trail-destruction-British-familys-4-4m-Marbella-villa-400-crash-Facebook-party.html

That is very very sad experience to the mother and to be called bi**h by her own daughter. I guess it will also bounce back to the way they raise her! Who knows anyway? being grounded for me is not enough for her and if there will be no face to face talk and valuing to this girl, she will be doing it again!

Obviously, the mother has so much more stuff to prioritize than giving attention to her daughter.

You're absolutely right. People can be successful in their careers/business at the expense of their family.

Correct, related to my post like successful person oftentimes, give up something that affects the family! ANyway, both of them should learn from the experience.. The mother and more so the daughter!

That is really sad. I mean for all of these people to go to her families home and wreak it like they did. I remember reading about something simaler happing to a girl on myspace. Her parents weren't home and she invited everyone to their house. They wreaked there home also. This sounds worser that the one I read about on myspace. I don't think I would ever invite or give my address to someone I hardly knew espically a whole website.

It was really a folly to do that. As it turns out the girl is apparently unrepentant. They have so much money they don't care.

Well I guess she knows better now and that strangers are not very nice.

Wow!!! That is absolutely crazy!!! What kind of person would announce to the entire world, where they lived? It was wrong of them to trash the place, but it was wrong of er to invite a heap of strangers in tere, and tell te entire world where she lived. If I ever did anything like this my parents would (rightfully) blow their tops at me, and I'd have to pay for the damage!!!

She even allegedly announced that it was okay to ransack the house because her parents are getting divorced anyway.

well i hate to say 'it serves her right' but it really sort of does...why in the world would someone do that? even a teen having a party these days means a lot of gate crashers and that equals disaster because most teens dont care about the property of someone eles house.

Well, I guess that's what money and unmindful parents do to a spoiled teen.

OH, those vandals, and looters, and what else? Well, we can't just put the blame on them if the party organizers were just discreet enough. They were inviting anonymous people so they should have had invited the police as well.

I think the kid would glad she was only grounded and not made to get a job to pay for the damage she caused. When will kids stop being this dumb?

Well, even that type of punishment was not really welcomed at all. But good for her she only got minor punishment.

I should say that the parents were too naive to let the girl hold that hell birthday party. calling her mother b****. is this a picture of young generation today? the girl sucks. the parents should have kicked her out of the house earlier and let her learn harsh lesson about life and living!

I just feel sorry for both the mother and the daughter for what they have brought their life into. They may have the money but unfortunately, they don't have the best things in life.

that's the prize of it. she should have known from the start that in such situation, it would be much better if she just don't announce it. especially if she don't have enough security guards to see over the house where she will celebrate her birthday. too bad for a wrecked birthday party of the year.

Well, apparently she was not regretful of it except that she was grounded and that's it.

This jody was a stupid, spoiled rich kid brat and should be put in jail with the rest of the party bashers.and she should have known better to announce it in facebook. I do not blame her mom for being really angry as they stole and 'damaged the property and misbehaved all the way around. If she had hit her who could blame her. this was terrible destruction of private property.I think really the whole family is somewhat to blame as if she had had proper upbringing she would have known better than that.

It's really terrible, those bashers really knew what to do to wreck one's house and loot it.
