There seems to be a bit of a debate over sweeteners... Some people swear by sugar, others by sacrine, others by nutrasweet, others by estevia, others by honey, and still others by sweeteners I have never heard of....
What sweeteners do you like best and why?
Are you concerned about any health effects from them... why/why not?

We don't use enough of any sweetener for me to be concerned about health effects. Most of the time, I sweeten things naturally with fruits like dates or bananas. If I need another sweetener, then I use stevia, pure maple syrup or agave syrup.
I like stevia the best because it comes in small bottles and only takes a couple of drops to sweeten something. There are even flavored ones that taste great in coffee.

Thanks for sharing about stevia and the other sweeteners you use... Especially as there are not a lot of people who have used them yet.

I actually use splenda. I don't know why I started, but I was told it was healithier and begun to use it. From then on, it's the only one I use. It's just like sugar. I am not concerned with any health effects; it's not on my mind, anyways.
