Newspaper Jobs

I worked for a newspaper company for 7 years. Last summer I became ill and was eventually terminated. Looking at it now...I am glad that I was. Newspaper sells have steadily declined over the past ten years. More and more people are getting their news from the internet. It is quick, up to date, and does not cut down trees. I have noticed more newspapers closing shop or laying off. There is a urgent trend in the newspaper business to switch to internet only. So, thanks for my blessing in disguise. I will be going back to nursing school in the fall. Does anyone have any views on what will happen to newsprint in the next 10 years?

I feel like newspaper reading is declining. I grew up in the newspaper business, and I am still in print today, high quality magazines and catalogs. Things have really, really changed since the introduction of the computer. Good luck in your next career.
