Cold or Hot water?

Which do you prefer? My mom made us drink lukewarm water since we were babies so I grew up used to it. Even during the summer when it's really hot and I want to add a few ice cubes to my drink, I almost always end up getting lukewarm water out of habit. The only time I have hot water is when I'm drinking tea, and the only time I have cold water is when I drink cold drinks at Starbucks and Coffee Bean or somewhere not at home. What about you guys?

I normally drink cold water throughout the day.
It just seems more... tasty than water at room temperature lol.
At night, I will drink tea which is of course warm. I also like to start up the day with a hot beverage.

Hello mimico. I much prefer drinking cold water than hotwater. I only drink hot water whenever I drink hot chocolate or tea.

that is such utter nonsense about cold water.I put
ice cubes in my water when its hot and to heck with
old wives tales. it has never hurt me and I am now
a senior citizen. I drink hot water in tea or coffee, and
cold green tea, lot of the time with ice added. why
make yourself suffer needlessly.
