I prefer to answer as I can rarely think of anything to start a discussion about and when I do think of something I say to myself "I will post it after I have replied to these" and then completely forget.

I start by responding to discussions started by my friends, then recent discussion then discussion with no responses and the I start a new discussion if I have something to post. I dont post a new discussion everyday because sometimes I dont feel like puting up a discussion. I enjoy responding to discussions from my friends. I dont have much time to spend here so I respond to 4 or 5 discussions a day.

I too prefere to answer discussion than to start them, i only ever really start discussions if i have something that i need some advice for etc. I enjoy replying more as i can always think of something to say back to a question rather than to pose a question good topic

I prefer to answer existing discussion instead of starting my own. I don't think I can come up with interesting enough topics to have discussions about. I also don't want to just randomly start a discussion that might already be in existense. It'll just be a waste to have a bunch of the same discussions floating around.
