As a daughter, are you vocal or showy with your love for your parents? I am not. I only got into the habit of giving my parents hugs only now that I have my own family and I can only tell them I love you through text messages, letters and cards. How about you?

We grew up showy and expressive about our feelings and I am glad about it. I even make me roommates before learn that habit since she is not very expressive. My dad was working away and his style like writing letter and sending cards were pass into me and my sister..LOL, it was also good since I know not all families are that expressive and that is very sad, others find it corny when it comes to their parents because they were not used to!

Hi there che! That's really great! I write letters and send cards to my mom and sisters to even when we're at the same house. But I'm just not vocal about my love for them nor physically. Thank you very much for your response.

I'm not vocal in showing them my love. For my mom I write her letters and for dad buy gifts or cakes on special occasions.

no i am not vocal. what i can do is show them by doing something. i always try to keep them happy and providing them the best things.

im not vocal or showy too... because im afraid that they just reject my sweetness... but to other people i am vocal and showy... but when it comes to my parents im having hard time... they are so scary... so we never get the chance to talk about some stuffs i want to talk about... i cant say what i want to say... i cant act the way i want... i cant open up my problems... actually its so hard... coz at my age i need guidance... i need someone to ask...about things i dont know... thats why now i am trying to be close to them... i open up to them...piece by piece...

Hi there Ahna! I guess alot of people felt like that when theyw ere younger. I didn't feel scared actually, we're pretty close. I am just not comfortable expressing how much I love them in words. Thank you very much for your response.
