Have you seen How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days? I have and even though Kate Hudson's drunk version of Carly Simon's You're so Vain is not good, I think it's cute. How about you? What songs and by whom are the remakes that you think isn't good enough?

Hi! Well, Ive seen the movie and I think it was overacting enough that I dont believe she was supposed to be drunk. I thought she was just acting and trying to discourage the guy.LOL So she really was supposed to be drunk huh? Thanks for the info.LOL Even if it was a bit overacting I think the scene and her way of presenting that song works for the movie.^_^ Anyways, I think that most remakes are not good. I mean at least the ones that Ive seen the original of. Some sequels dont become as good as the first one too in my opinion. But going back to the remakes, no offense meant to anyone or anything but for me the Hollywood remakes of other International movies are not as good as the original ones. Like the Asian horror movies for example. No matter how good they present the effects and the suspense factor its still not as good as the original one. But then again thats just me.^_^

Hi there BJ! I was actually talking about song remakes. But you gave me an idea for another topic. Thank you very much for your response.

Oh!LOL Im sorry. Well, in that case I think a more appropriate answer to your discussion would be I cant think of any bad song remake.^_^ But I do find it weird that in the US or I think almost anywhere. When a singer's song becomes a hit, another singer remakes it into a girl/boy version. Like for example, the song, Beautiful Girls by Sean Kingston. The song itself is a remake of the Stand By Me song but I guess its an updated version that fits well into the music style of today's generation. Then Jojo switched up the song to fit into a girls perspective. There is also the male David Cook version of Always Be My Baby by Mariah Carey. ITs a really really good version though. I loved the original but I loved David Cook's version even more. Anwyays, glad that I could help somehow.LOL Thanks.^_^

Yeah. I like Jojo's reply though. And I heard that there's a male version of Beyonce's Irreplaceable too. That one, I haven't heard yet. Thanks.

I've seen the movie, and despite its silliness, enjoyed it. In fact, I've seen it several times, but then I'm a sucker for romantic comedies. I think Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey looks cute together. Unfortunately, I haven't seen the original, so I don't have an opinion whether how good is it as a remake.

Hi there Wayz! Sorry if I wasn't clear with my question. I was asking song remakes and I was referring t Kate Hudson's version of You're so Vain. I am also a sucker for romantic comedies. Thank you very much for your response.
