It's the sweet. There could still be a hundred ways of calling your partner with sweet names. I haven't researched yet where and how the calling of sweet names to love ones started. It was a great idea to start a thing like that the one who started it deserves some praises. Which name do you call your partner? Why?

i think i would prefer something like calling your partner not just any causal type of pet names. i like something more personal..
for example, we went out together once and he farted.. and unfortunately.. it stink... so from then on.. he would be my MR stinker...:) something like that.. just an example...

Ever since we got together, I have to admit, I always call my fiance honey or babe, but mostly babe. Sometimes people make fun of me because I use it so much. Honestly, I hardly even use his real name. Its just easier to call him Babe, because his real name is Robert and at work he goes by Robert, his friends and his dad's side call him Bob, and the way he introduced himself to me and what his mother's side calls him is Bobby. How confusing! So I just call him Babe.
