My niece does it. If there is a sad scene she goes in to tears as if it is a personal tragedy and also she also becomes oblivious to the world around.

i am not a very emotional person and i don't really like drama stories so i avoid heavy drama movies. i prefer action, but of course even action movies have their own sad part too, on that part if i don't feel like watching it i will just fast forward the movie. if its on a television and a current show i will just go out for a while and make myself busy with something then just go back afterwards.

I do this too. I think it is very common to cry when there goes a sad scene. But most time I try not to make too much noise if I am in a cinema.

i really love movies that can really make me cry. Often times I want to cry not because I am sad but because I just want to do it for emotional balance. LOL. And movies help me do it. Yay! :D

I don't mind, but I just don't tell people, lol. Sometimes some movies are just depressing because they imitate life so brilliantly. As a writer, I'd like to provoke the same from anyone who reads my work. The screenplays I have written include tragic aspects of my life and the life I've made up. If someone cries while reading my work, like my mom, then I've done my job.

yes i do cry wile watching movies..but I'd rather watch them when i am alone _ I am a very emotional person. I know korean dramas are very emotional compared to any other ethnic movie. The acting is very strong so I just can't stop crying. I am sure most people know the movie "A walk to remember" with the actress Mandy Moore. I must say that I didn't cry but I did with the korean version. The same goes with any other type of movies which is sad. Emotions and reactions are bound to each other so it's allright to cry. I wouldn't find a person normal if he/she doesn't cry at all or at least doesn't feel sad about it.
