All kids it seems go through phases where they are totally obsessed with one thing, be it a tv show, character, movie, etc... My 6 year old son is totally obsessed with all things "Pixar Cars"! and oh yes by golly, we indulge him whole heartedly, he must have at least 2-3 hundred of the little cars themselves! He has all the play sets, rc cars, most of his clothes have their pics on them as do his sneakers and crocks! underwear and pants too! His favorite ps2 game-Cars! Cars board games, books...Oh the list goes on-if i had half the $$ we spent on all that stuff I'd be rich! So how bout it fess up-do you totally indulge your childs obsession too? Or do you work hard at not "spoiling" him/her?? I did the same with my 2 girls when they were young, but I made sure as they grew up that they learned the value of a dollar and they have jobs and buy all their own stuff now. thank goodness and one is a tight wod and the other is very generous, but they're both responsible with their money,so i don't think it was a bad thing to indulge them as children.

Tom and Jerry!!! they both love it and ive bought them a few dvds and even personalised some pyjamas for the eldest which she loved and only cost me £2.50 to make. Although the youngest much prefers peppa pig!!!

My son loves High School Musical. I try not to induldge it too much as it is more geared towards girls. I dont find anything wrong with the movie but all the stuff to buy that he wants in pinks and purples and girly.

I know what you mean. When my son liked Dora the Explorer, I got him a big stuffed Boots the monkey doll, but that was about it. lol
