Friday Afternoon's work

Well this is the newest photo of one of my garden plots. As you can see along the left side I have the corn thinned out leaving about 20 stalks on the edge. I have planted cauliflower in the 3 plastic rings shown in the center. I'll be eating some fresh green and yellow onions with my salad tomorrow as well. My bell and banana peppers seem to have stopped growing but do have new leaves coming out. Maybe the cold did this? So I thinnned the corn planted about 50 more onions, planted 15 cauliflower, and did the weeding and watering of all my veggies, fruits, and flowers yesterday. Busty day once again. Now I rest for a day. HAHAHA! Is Saturday your day of leisure?

Glad that you were able to get a lot of gardening done yesterday. Your making me hungry for a nice big salad about now.
Can't say that Saturday's are my day of leisure per say. Since I generally work, but today is a day spending it with the grandbaby and responding to a few discussions for a bit until I have to go pick up my daughter from work and then I won't be back to mylotting for a while because have other things to do first!

Looks like someone has been a busy little bee just lately!! And as you say in your discussion you have had a "Busty day once again" he he did you mean to put "busty?"
I came home from me hols last night, so I have not had a day of leisure today, I have been busy going shopping for school shoes for the new term and then stocking up on supplies and then I have a whole heap of washing to catch up on, so I shall be busy all weekend.

what the heck happened. Busy day, yes. We did a lot
of shopping today but that's liesure to me actually.

Busty day him thats interesting you perv. I so gotta get gardening but I think this year I may just skip it. Other than a few small things i guess.

I don't see any picture here, but it sounds nice. I loved corn and cauliflower, you sure have a good variety. I just got my garden planted, finally. I still have to put in some beans, spinach, and carrots, but I've got squash, tomatoes, peppers, and kale. I can hardly wait.

Photo problems with myLot. (again) It was added in response #1 for all to check out. But it was a long humid day staying outside doing a lot of gardening and yard work.

Oops, I don't see a photo but I'm sure it is very nice since you had a hand in it. Your upcoming salad does sound good. I hope your banana and bell peppers get to doing good for you. Any day I want for leisure is my day of leisure. I wish I did have a green thumb or a talent so I could do more things.

You forgot the picture but I bet it is lovely,seems to me you have one of the greeniest thumbs I have ever seen.Saturday is my day of leisure I sometimes go shopping like today I had to go get new soil so I can plant some Lillies I bought not sure if it si the right time but going to try anyway.You have a wonderful afternoon.

The photo is in response #1 now. It was there when I submitted the discussion but as of late there's been a glitch woth attatching photos. Anyhow my Lilies are starting to get the buds on them. I have about 75 lilies scattered in a few flower beds.

I don't see a picture, but I'm planting my garden tomorrow--I hope. At least I'll start it! Wish I had a rototiller, I'd make a big one! As it is, at least I'll get rid of the pesky grass along the west side of the house, I'll put some stuff there and some along the garage.
Your mention of corn has my mouth watering. Living in Arizona for 30 years, I never tasted good corn that was grown there. When I moved back to the midwest I couldn't believe how delicious the corn was! My mom and grandparents grew vegetable gardens, nothing better, certainly not from the grocery.
Hope your garden prospers!
