We are home from out vacation to the Grand Canyon

We went to the Grand Canyon, Flag Staff AZ, Sedona AZ, and Laughlin NV. We had such a great time and walked a lot. I have 100's of photos. We left for our trip it was snowing at Flag Staff AZ. May 23 and 24 it snowed on us it was not much snow but it was snow. We loved the Grand Canyon what amazed me was there was that much guard railing around it so people could fall down the canyon. You could walk out to the edge and at some parts literally fall to your death. I got lots of photos of the rocks. I loved the different colored rocks and terrain. We went to a wild animal part. I loved looking at all the animals which where from Africa. I bonded with an ostrich that would have taken my camera if I had let it. She came up to the side of the bus we where riding in to look me eye to eye. I snapped a photo where were where only 2 feet away from each other. My daughter was afraid the ostrich was going to peck my eyes out. hahahaha We went to Sedona AZ the town has several vortex areas in ti that are suppose to realign your different energy fields in your body. I did not feel any differently when I was in the two areas. We road a tram around the city and up to a church that was build into the rock hillside. It is small and beautiful. I have photos of it will share with you all. A woman built the church in honor of her mother. We saw lots of Native American items for sale. I was talking to a Navajo lady how I liked really well she was explaining to me how they made their clay pots and some of their jewelry. She was Navajo. We saw a lot of items that where for sale. We got to see some elk in the Grand Canyon. I have never seen a live elk before. They are huge compared to the Mule dear we have here in Yosemite National Park where I was raised. I will be posting a lot of photos later. The photo that I posted is of Mt Humphies which is 12 thousand feet elevation. The first two days we where in Flag Staff we did not even know it was there because it was in the clouds. On the third day we where going to the Grand Canyon and low and be hold there was a mountain we had not seen. I took this photo out of the car window while my daughter was driving at 75 miles an hour. Great camera.
