There is a saying "politics of next 50 years are decided in the college life of the student".ie most of moments startyoung in college days and finally end up as political mileage...

Guess that's why it seemed so important to some to brainwash the young folks through education.. Form the world tomorrow by shaping the politics of people when they're young (and don't know any better!)
