Gas prices.

I really don't remember how much gas was but I believe it was only a few dollars a gallon. And now of course it's right on the verge of $4 a gallon. The last time I checked which was Thursday it was $3.98 a gallon.

When I first got my license gas was around $1.89 per gallon. Now, I'm paying $4.45 per gallon. The gas increased by .30 during this month alone. It's been rumored that the prices will probably reach $5.00 per gallon where I'm at. Hopefully not or I'm going to have to find some other way to commute.

Now it is very difficult to live for middle class person due to hike in petrol and gas prices.I am from India and our government is planning to hike the price of petrol and gas.

Dear friend, Here in India gas and petrol prices are going high by each year that too average two times a year and this is mostly effected by the lower and middle class as this price effects mostly the consumer goods and hence these are mostly depended by lower and middle class and their incomes is much tight when these hike in prices effects all those basic needs too. HOpe gas and petrol prices are to taken more serious in India may be other countries too.

I honestly don't really remember...it was so low that, I didn't really think on it. I do remember a crisis in the early 80's or maybe late 70's when gas rose to beyond what they could computerize on the pumps. If we pumped 5.00 worth of gas, it was really 10.00. I only remember that because I got into an argument with my boyfriend at the time because I gave him 5.00 to pump my gas and he forgot that it doubled so we had to scramble around to come up with another 5.00.

I remember paying 75 cents a gallon when I was younger and filling my bike with a five dollar bill...lol. Now it is $4.09. I still live in the same area so that's the price at the same station the last time I was there.

when i first got my car gas was at 2.19, now here it's 3.69.
