So my son is starting to sit up by himself, he can do it for about five minutes before crashing to the floor lol, I think that he enjoys sitting more than anything.
Anyone else love watching their children as they start doing new things? Have you cried because of them?

I always thought my daughter was a little odd, she was crawling & standing etc before she was able to sit on her own. I always thought kids would sit before they crawled & so on!
It was always great to see my little one do new things & now she's almost 2 so she's very clever!
I guess that since we're due with another bub in about 5 weeks, we'll get to have the fun all over again of watching them learn new things from the beginning & it's always such a wonderful sight to see a baby accomplish something new for the very first time.
I don't believe i ever cried when my daughter had a new accomplishment but when she was very little, i remember just looking over at her & crying because it was still such a shock to know that we'd created something so little & perfect & that she was all ours!

Oh I love seeing them learn new things, my children are past the learning to crawl sit roll etc but it was so special to watch. Eldest is 4 and learning to write etc and youngest is 2 and learning to talk in proper sentences its amazing listening to all the new words!

hi. My baby is 8 months now and boy, he can do a lot of things already! When he started to clap his hands, open and close, hold the bottle on his own and many more, I was really happy because these are the moments I can never go back to. I will always cherish them and took picture whenever I can..He's also starting to sit on his own now and he looks really happy.Somehow, it's the start of his independence. He doesn't like to be carried much nowadays. I cry whenever he does a new thing. I'm such an emotional mom when it comes to my kids!
