What speaks to you

I haven`t heard all of Avril`s songs by a longshot, but some have things that I definitely want to pass on to my daughters - like being yourself (Complicated) and not judging a book by it`s cover or just to be cool (Sk8ter Boi). Are there other things in Avril`s songs that really speak to you.

Avril has made lots of hits because she speaks a plain language. I find it simple but maybe that's what everybody needs these days.
