Well, as among Filipino people pursuing carrer in different country I wonder how many Filipinos with choices wanted to stay here in their homeland. With todays current situation like economic crisis, oil price hike, price increases for basic needs, crime and other not to mention. How many Filipinos still longed to live here if they can choose between leave or left behind? In my own observation, I have noticed a vast of population trying hard to work abroad and live abroad. It does gives me a feeling again, that if everyone has big chances to leave Phillipines they will. Can any of my kababayan here state some reason why you decided to continue striving here or why have you decided to work away from your homeland? or even longed to live in other country with your family? Does Phillipine Island has more reason for its native to stay? or giving out more reason to leave?

it's really sad but I would prefer to live in another country than live on in the sorry state our country has become. It's really pitiful that instead of trying to help each other we are all trying to pull each other down in an effort to look out for ourselves. There are too many crabs in the philippines.

Hi! anex I don't blame them if the prepare to stay in other country. They have to grab better opportunity for there future security. It's really hard to leave our home land but do we a choice. Look and observe don't you listen to every day news left and right problem that are not solve and I don't know if still there is hope for it. Crisis in food, uncontrolled price hike do we have a choice to stay here? Do we have bright future if we are in the middle level or in poor level only of course we don't have a choice if have to think of other ways and the best way to reach our goal in life is to leave and and find our opportunity in our land. I remember what my sister in law said even if we only clean other houses it's ok as long as it's legal and pay better than here. It's really hard to work aboard, home sick etc. but you need to be strong, do I have a choice none if I stay here can I earn 10 pounds an hour I don't think so. I know it's 2 days rate and ordinary worker here... can not blame them if they choose to work to other country. It's really hard here very low in opputunity and many competition. Many graduate but no available job for them.

You are right, and on my part I am also longing to work in another country. For financial purposes, we can't hold back and just let our family hungry and dying, we need to do something and the only thing that will offer us great opportunity and be well paid is to work outside our homeland since here in our beloved country the offer is too limited for some.
