A wish for the aged

Behind the aged face of my beloved "Lola" are memories of family and friends. Her wrinkles stands for earnest time of prayer,loving,care and decades of useful works. Her Beauty is no longer the skin deep charm of youth but the time-honored loveliness of a life well lived.
But the most common observation I've got are the elderly are not always appreciated. Unscrupulous people forced them to live in wretched conditions. Others may think that they are unnecessary burden.
We should not treat them this way, many of these precious people felt rejected and abandoned, Let's pray for the aged, care for them, be patient for them and love them. Perhaps, we are the answer to their prayer...

Your discussion is very heart-warming. It made me missed my ever-loved Lola (Grandma)who passed away for quite sometime already, yet her memories of love and care never cease to linger and live in me.
Now, I can just sigh with the memories..at times I feel fulfilled because of her teachings, but there are also times that I feel I've disappointed her with some of the flaws in the past...
Anyway, the point is: we should not forsake our old people, instead we should show and give them love and concern just like how and what they did to us when they are still younger..we will also be passing the same way.
