I have a silk ficus tree in my dining room and it is looking pretty dusty, I want to clean it and am wondering what you all would recommend as a way to clean a silk ficus tree?

My partner cleans all of her plants with a duster. She just takes the leaves in her hand and swipes the duster over top of the leaves. I'm sure if you do it gently enough it shouldn't cause any problems.

I have three ficus tree's that I love, but you're right, they collect dust like a maginet. I know there are many ways to clean them but for those of us that don't have all day the thing that I have found that works best is using a hair dryer to blow all the dust off. I use the cool setting but put it on high. If you want them cleaner and it's not winter, after the dust has been blown off you can hose it off outside with the water hose and let it dry outside. Sometimes if you just hose them off, the dust and the water makes them look muddy. Hope this helps.
