Your statement is absolutely correct. I'd at least know that if i went for a job, put all the effort in and some person who looks scruffy got it- i'd know that the job wasnt worth it and that my effort atleast will get me where i am. I dislike men/women who don't do anything to deserve what they have. My boyfriends work colleague for example- has a job to scan things in (i dont know exactly) and my boyfriends job is to print off the files/order them and double check everything is scanned. However his work colleague has been caught repeatedly watching videos on "youtube" and misses atleast HALF the scans he is meant to be doing, which then pushes more work onto my boyfriend.

I do the same job (not watching the video) but scanning, printing the files for university students and professors throughout the year. The difference is I am the boss and hence I dedicate myself do the job better than others. This helps me get repeat orders -that means more money and my earnings per month is more than what a professor earns at University!

A few of us are quite lucky to get things done in one go. Otherwise majority of people in this world succeed second, third ......nth time. There are people who get frustrated and give up. While trying for the second and third time ....for anytime, it is better to adopt new techique, new methods, altogether different type. It works.
