It's a tie between Akira, and for a series it's Rurouni Kenshin. Akira is what got me hooked on anime in the first place. And I've never enjoyed a series like i have with Rurouni Kenshin. The OVA's are pretty good as well, so it's just and awesome series all around! Good discussion.

good anime to chose, i like that also and when son gokou's kids are beginning to master their powers and be more powerful than there fahter.

i've watch some episodes of inuyasha and sakura but haven't seen any episodes of tsubasa chronicle. nice choices.

samurai x, you're under arrest, fushigi yuugi and sailor moon for me lol the first anime that i really loved was sailor moon. since then, i started to like watching animes and i became addicted to it little by little

First off I want to pose a question,but is considered anime? My brother is a really big anime fan,and he loves watching it,and I used to watch it from time to time with him,my favorite anime would have to be either Dragon Ball Z or Tenshi something,I cant remember the name of it,but I really liked watching it with my brother,and the pink haired dude is hilarious lol.

i would go for GHOST FIGHTER that i think is the best ever..
now i enjoy watching prince of tennis and eye shield 21
my most fave is DORAEMON it really relaxes me a lot....

ghost fighter is one of the most watch anime here in our country. ghost fighter is a phenomenon here. young or old watch that anime. its theme is so much fun to watch it. the tournament and the way eugene transform into a very strong ghost fighter is so great. nice choice.

agreed. it does depend on what your into. out of what i've seen as of storyline and complexity, I would say Akira. Which is being made into a live action I've head. And in the US! Nothing against other countries, but Hollywood seems to have a bigger budget on these type of things.
