Hot diggity damn!!! Many of you might know I was trying for 91 cents last night. I felt pretty good, actually, that I'd make it, but I didn't realize by how much!! I did $1.69 yesterday!!! They were a bit late in posting results this morning, but after I finished responding to someone's discussion, there it was!!! $15.78!!! OK - that doesn't even give me a half-tank of gas, but still!! WOOHOO again!!! 
Thank you everyone for wishing me well in that relatively minor quest! To succeed in even a small thing feels pretty darned good!!! 
Now - on to June!!!

Congratulations! Doesn't it feel good to reach goals we've set for ourselves? I'm that way too, I stray too much.
Fortunately, I love myLot so much that I can't seem to get enough. I have a tough time leaving it to do my housework! LOL
I didn't make as much as you, but I managed $14.59 for May. I joined here on May 13, so I think I did pretty well, too.
Isn't this a great place? Make friends AND money!

I am MORE than impressed!!! It took me THREE months and you've been here just over a half-month and have earned nearly as much!! WOW!!! Congratulations!!
I have the same problem pulling myself away. I'm supposed to make dinner for my mother and get her meds ready, etc, but sometimes we eat "pot luck" - whatever is there or we order out. I"m a bad daughter, some days!!

I believe, iceman, that you have to have many posts with good content and quality. That is what I've been told so far. I spend a lot of time here, answering many posts and starting a few of my own discussions. Do that every day and it will add up. Good luck to you!

Well done on that one... I actually managed to earn $20.45 for may so I'm very happy... but then, I have a VERY active referral who actually earned me more than I earned for myself... LOL... that's the kind of referral you want.

LOL... well, I have six referrals total... but only two are active. One really good one and the other who only makes a couple of posts per day.
I'd give you the inactives if I could... I keep hoping they'll become active one day.

I'm chuckling because not only is that the kind of referral I need, I'll take ANY referral you have!!! I'm flying this plane solo. Can't get anyone to sign up!! No one I know likes to write anything. They'll barely read, and write as little as possible. I don't know - my two greatest pleasures are reading and writing. So, for now, I am a sole proprietor on this.

Thank you! It did take me a little while to catch on to what was and what could be. Once I got comfortable and found my "legs", it was a bit easier. But, thinking of topics can be rough!! Trying to make that gray matter do what it hasn't done in a while - WHEW! But, it may be a minor accomplishment, but it is STILL an accomplishment, and I'm happy about it!

great job you did there. $15 is something else in mylot. one question though, did you do this through your own efforts or were you able to hit $15 with the help of a couple of active referrals?

Awesome job well done! You must be proud to have done it and saw the results. I know it's a great feeling when you put all your power behind what your trying to accomplish and you see the results for I have done it myself and I was excited. That's awesome! Great job! I was feeling bad about getting you a little discouraged...I thought you were just starting for the day at 11pm last night! Anyway, I thought I worked pretty hard here yesterday but yo beat me by quite a bit, I did make my goal though, so that's all that really matters.

You go girl whoop whoop. Takes me months to make payout. I guess I could spend more time here but I have other places I can go to make more quicker. But I still love Mylot and will probably never leave. I dont mind getting 10 bucks every few months.

No problem hon check out www.mturk.com that is not a referral link. You can do alot of writing assignments there if ya want it's kind of come & go as you please. Some days there will be stuff to do somedays nothing you want to do. Check it often. I have made 70.00 since March. I love it there. And you dont have to worry about getting referrels either they dont take em.

If money were the only draw (although it is what got me here initially), I wouldn't be here. I love being able to write like this - I wish I could make a living wage doing this. But, thanks!! I appreciate the kind words!!
If you don't mind sharing where I could also make more quicker, I wouldn't mind knowing about them. But, if you'd rather keep them close to your heart, that's OK, too.

Great news jerzgirl, and congratulations. I was aiming for 40 cents yesterday, which would have brought mine up to $14. What do you know, I actually earned a whole dollar! A few cents came from referrals but mainly it was from my responses.
Now we can focus on a new month. I know I can reach payout again this month but I would be happy to beat what I earned in May.

Hi msinha1999, if you read the myLot guidelines you will see that there is no set rate and you can't work out how earnings are calculated. You need to write good responses and start interesting discussions. The more you write and the more responses you get to your discussions, the more you will earn.

I know what you mean. I think starting discussions pays more, but we need to respond as well. If all we did was start discussions, who'd answer them??? LOL

Great job! Maybe June will bring double the amount. Depending on what you drive that could almost be a half of tank of gas. Not for me though.

I was a slow starter - it took me 3 months to get there. But, one of my responders to this discussion just started this month on the 13th. She almost reached $15 herself!! That's some dedicated typing!!! LOL
But, if someone uses dial-up and gets one of the discounted ones, you can pay for your Internet service with MyLot. That's nothing to sneeze at. One less bill - especially one that's considered a luxury - is ALWAYS a good thing!!

That's awesome. I made 44 cents yesterday. I didn't really have a goal because it was my first day, but now I understand how it works. Congrats! And that's so true about the tank of gas. 15 dollars doesn't even pay for a quarter of my tank!

I never had a goal either until I tried for that last $.91, mostly to see if I could. My days are very irregular, so I'm not on, say, today nearly as much as tomorrow and maybe hardly at all the day after. So, as the month goes on, I'll know better if I can try for a target.

Congratulations! I hope you reach your June goal, too. I haven't decided whether I'm going to actively try to reach payout in June or not. I reached it from May, but a few dollars were from several months combined, when I wasn't very active at all! I would go for weeks and weeks without ever signing in. But I've been back pretty active for the last two weeks or so.

Wow! Congratulations! I am wondering how many post you made for that $1.69 earnings. My highest so far is i think 1 dollar only and it has participation of my referrals.
If I get 15 dollars every month that would be pretty cool, its about 12 liters of gas already in our country.

Yipee yippeee horraayy. thats great. im happy for you. I joined last evening. hope the day which i run crying wohoo will come soon. LOL. The other day i saw one of my friend going wierdo cuz he won some money over the internet. i have tried, and have earned, but never enough. I'm hoping you will get enough for a full tank next time bro :P. and i hope ill get enough for a half tank this time.

Hey - welcome to our little world!! I know it seems weird to be so happy about what is otherwise a very small amount, but still....it's a recognition of accomplishment and that has meant something to me. I lost my job in February and have had a hard time just feeling worthy of anything. This has helped so much!!
