Desk job or Field job?

if you are to be given a choice, what will you choose? for me, it's definitely a desk job, preferably, in front of computer and lots and lots of hardware...LOL. i find field job tiring, especially the going back and forth, especially here in our place, where it's perpetually summer all year long. it's nice to be in an air-conditioned room and having the comforts of an office or workplace....

i am in a desk job now. I think I am effective more in desk jobs than in field jobs. Field jobs needs social and conversational skills, and I don't think I am good in those areas. I like desk jobs because I find it easier thinking while sitting and not while talking.

I will choose the field job ...even though it keeps u running but it also keeps u fit...you should observe that the people who are in a desk job...they suffer from obesity...mostly....i dont think you wanna have that...

I also prefer a desk job. I dont like a field job as we have to move from place to place and there is no stability in life. I like to work sitting at a place. There is one advantage in field job that you come across many people and one can learn many things, but then it depends on ones choice. But I personally like desk job and espacilly in creative and challiging job.

I used to be a field interviewer and I extremely enjoyed it, meeting new people and places, encountering different cultures and customs. Well now I have a desk job, although it is nice it is not as invigorating as a field job.

I'd prefer the desk job as well. Well, first it may be much safer since you're not exposed outside. Plus, it's more quiet and comfy and I can work at my own pace most of the time. I've had a desk job since I started working 4 years ago. I'm really loving it.

I would choose both..that is a job consisting of 3/4 desk job and 1/4 field job. In this way, I will remain active with my jobs and will hold more responsibilities.

I prefer desk job. I don't like the field job especially to move from here to there always through the traffic jam. Actually I don't have the flair for marketing jobs. Second thing I like in desk job is that there should be a fixed time for the work. But in the case of field job there should not be a fixed time and you have to go to the clients when ever they would like you to attend them.
