Mylot Stars

Im new to mylot and have seen many profiles with stars next to their name with numbers in them. Would somebody explain to me what these mean and how you get them. Thanks alot.

MyLot stars are ratings for your responses and comments. If you'll notice there is a number inside it. From 0-10, 10 being the highest, meaning your posts have been rated by other members as good/positive posts. Based from my understanding, the star is quality and the rating, number beside your name, to the right, is quantity.
