Golden compass what the heck

At the risk of sounding stupid.. What the heck was that movie exactly about? I missed the first 15 minutes or so did I miss something important there? At the end it talked about free will and a war. I didn't understand why they would be having demons looking all cute and friendly encouraging kids to embrace them. I understood towards the end when it said children's demons are not evil children are innocent until they turn into an adult, then the evils come. But over all I did not get the whole move. Was it about the bible? was it for God? was it for evil? I am lost. It was very strange to me and maybe I was just trying to read to much into the whole thing.

Sorry I can not help youu with this one. I have not seen the movie yet. I will I love these movies. If I have seen it I do not remmebr. That's one of the good things about seizers and memory loss. I get to see movies again for the first time, lol.

I am sorry to hear that you have seizers and memory loss but it looks like you have got a great sense of humor about it. Since you have not seen it I don't recomend it. The graphics are really good but that was the only thing I liked about it.

Thank you for your insight to the movie. I have seen some movies lately too that I did not like as much as I thought I would. Johnny Depp, I love and his movie about the barber I did not like it much at all. I liked the signing. It's the movie I didn't like. Also the one with the girl in the elevator I did not like that one. If you have seen them and liked them then this is good. I respect everyones opinion. I know evereyone has different one and different likes and dislikes.

Thanks for sharing. I am glad to know I wasn't the only one that did not like the movie or the ending. I did not understand it at all.
