I have a friend request from someone who has no posts at all!

Has this happened to you? I am wondering what this person is up to. Could it be that he cannot figure out that he (assuming it's a he) can post/respond at any time? That would be just plain weird. This person is bsb_lijie. Anyone else have a friend request from this person?

I have had a couple of friend requests where the people didn't have any posts and months down the track they still had no activity at all, I often wondered why they joined, I guess its a mystery.

He was probably either impressed with something you wrote, thought that he knew you from somewhere, or else simply liked something about your profile and thought that you would make a good friend. I've not heard from this person yet. Just take him at face value because I doubt if he's up to anything besides trying to be friendly and find his way around here. Take a look at his profile, and, if you don't find anything objectionable about it, accept his offer of friendship.

Are you sure it wasn't someone you referred? If so, automatically the user gets on your "pending friend requests". If not, then I'm not sure why someone would want to add you as a friend if the user isn't posting on myLot. I haven't had anyone with 0 posts unless it was someone I referred on here. Have a wonderful day. Pablo

That's really weird then! I can't believe he added you if you didn't refer him. Pablo

Thank you! Interesting possibility, but I don't know anyone that age, in any country. So, I really don't have a clue. I'll just have to wait and see, huh? You take care and have yourself a great day, too!

It's possible they just joined. Then again, I have no idea why they'd join and not post, haha.

I have some one similar.Maybe they just have sth to do to fail to post temporarily.Maybe they found keeping posting is not interesting and gave up.Whatever they choose to do what they like.It is important that we are here to do what we like and find lots of fun.

well, i didnt receive a friend request from that one, but i sure wont mind if someone like that adds me as a friend even with zero posts, to me "friends" in settings such as mylot are just a bunch of avatars sitting on my profile page. hehe. they dont have to be active or anything.

I will still add this one as my new friend in the list. Everybody was ever a new member here. I don't mind they have no post at all. Perhaps one day they even have more posts than me. I always accept friend request. I haven't received a friend request from this person yet. If I do, I will be glad to have one more friend. I love China

I have ever gotten friend requests from three users that had no post too. Another myLotter told me that she suspected one of the usernames as the troll, probably she was right. another one, I remember one of my friends got spammed by the person. probably the user wanted to do the same by the time his request was approved. who knows. I left the requests staying in my pending request list. I didn't approve them, didn't reject them either. that way, they didn't come accross to re-request the friendship any longer.

I don't have a request from that person but, I have one from another person and, that isn't my first. I don't get it either. I think that some people come here and they get the wrong idea that they can earn based on how many friends they have here. I have 2 people, and there was a third up until yesterday, who requested me as a friend, still pending because I want to keep track of their activity. One request was nearly 2 months ago and they only had 5 points of activity and one was deleted and they have been stuck at 4 for the majority of the time. The other one had about 11 activity points and then they disappeared so, I don't know if they just got rid of the request since I hadn't approved it or if they were deleted from myLot. Then I have another one that has zero activity and I am waiting to see what they do. So, my only suggestion is that you keep the requests around and check up on them periodically. If they are legit, you will know soon enough. And, if they are someone you care to get to know, you'll know soon enough about that too.

What you have mentioned in your, this discussion is exactly true. I had gone through the profile just now and found out somethings which are rather weird. On the top of the right of the page, under the *my activity* I could see xxx has had no activity for the last 60 day. It is more wired to see *became member 18 hours ago* beneath the green words *comments from my friends*. I wonder whether he is a new signed up member or an old member who is inactive for the last two months. I am curious that since he has neither post nor discussion in his profile what we could do to help him if we have approved his request.

hello, I also experienced this. I have a friend request with a user who also hadn't post or do any activity. At first, I thought it's one of my referrals, but it's not when I check my list of referrals, he/she wasn't included. So until now, it's a big mystery for me, why he/she give a friends request at me. And also until now, I don't know if I'll accept it. Based on some discussions I read those people can be called as "trolls". I don't know what does it mean but I think they can do bad things based on the things they said. So now, I really don't what will I do with him/her request.

Yes I am also got some request like that, but i will for him/her to made some discussion in mylot, then only i will approve them, because they use to send me some private message stating that, you can join so and so website under my referral like that.. Some of the people came to mylot to get the referral for their other online earnings websties, i will not encourage this type of people.. So, those who are send me teh friends request having the "0" discussion, i will not approve immediately, right now i have a 3 people in that catagory.. named "Danny08"(10) (requested 5 days back), "harryk"(0)(requested 4 days back) and "MaryZhang11"(0) requested 30 minutes back. I cannot say all the people like that, so, i will wait for them to post some discussions, then i will approve their friendship..
