who will take care of you when you get old / myLot

i hope my kids will help cause social security alone will not be enough-the reason i say my kids is because i cared for them on the other hand if you just have them and leave without caring for them then you have no reason to look for anything from them-even if you care for them you should not look for too much-i'm just looking out the corner of my eyes at them.

I certainly hope that I'll be able to take care of myself. I really can't see either of my children wanting to help. I do have a stepdaughter who probably would if I needed it, but I hope not to need it.

Hi, I'm from Singapore, where there are laws that require children to support their elderly parents financially, but of course you must have children first for that to work, and the amount they pay isnt a lot. The problem is made worse by falling birth rates in Singapore. I'm only 18 but I'm already kindof prepared that in the future I may have to look after my ownself when I grow old
