I had been bitter in the past and learned to trust again slowly. How about you?

Oh my goodness!!! I have been bitter so many times it's ridiculous!!! I had to learn the hard way what bitterness can bring you. It only brings you more misery and hurt. It keeps you from getting to where you need to be in life, from meeting a better person that may actually come along and sweep you off of your feet and give you the kind of love that you deserve. I'm slowly learning to not be so harsh when guys would approach me. Yes, I still keep my guards up (you have to), but I try not to be so mean.

I have had my heart broken before and was bitter for a short while. Eventually I was able to forgive and everything is great now. Him and I are back together and couldn't be happier. Just always remember this "Every minute of unhappiness, is a minute of happiness you can never get back!"

I'm so happy that you were able to work things out together and become close again. :) I bet he is just as nice and you are :)

In some cases it does make a person very bitter . I am not sure what it would do to me but would like to think with a bit of time I wouldn't be bitter about it . I have only had my heart broken once and I got over it quite fast and well when I look back at it but I was in high school at the time and wasn't with the person for as long as I have been with my husband but would like to think that I could be the same about it .
