Advertisements promising quick weight loss.. When you see them, what do you do?

I keep on reading these advertisements that say,
"Lose 30 pounds in 30 days" or "Lose 21 pounds a month" but I am interested in them but never follow up on them...
Some of these are outdoor advertisments tacked to telephone poles, newspaper advertisements, etc.
What do you think about advertisements like these?
Do you ever call the numbers advertised to see what they are trying to sell or to do with their clients?
Have any of these advertisements ever led you to something that worked for you?

These are not worth my time or money. The ones on the television in small letters to the bottom of the screen say that the results are not typical. I don't bother with these diet things. They are scams to get your money.

Thanks for sharing about the "results not typical" as there are some people who do not notice the small print.

Also it is better to lose slow and keep it off than lose fast and when you stop dieting to gain back the weight plus more than you lost.

It would be nice if there was a button that one could push and say presto, chango, Reduceo and achieve the desired weight with no effort...
I have seen some people lose a lot using supplements and then when they could not afford to take the supplements or just decided not to take them any more, they gained a whole lot of weight and were bigger than they were before they had the supplements...
It would be so neat if we could lose weight and keep it off without any effort at all and still be in wonderful health.
