Do you trust people easily?

i will trust people very easyly for that reason i have been cheated a lot of times and got hust very badly...
cant separate and find good people from bad people that's my disadvantage...
but i have changed a lot a lot after some incidents...

I tend to take most people at face value which makes me an easy target for all the lies . But I can't seem to think of a reason why you would lie to someone . Why start a conversation with someone you just met or would like to be friends with or for whatever reason if your whole purpose is to lie to them . But I also don't give all my private thought to anyone unless I have known them for some time and have built some sort of relationship with them , some faster then others .

Yes I agree with you. I have been an easy target too. I have learned to be a better judge of character over time.. Like i can see certain signs, but still people can be great one day and than awful the next.

its hard for me to blindly trust someone.... i've got my reasons that are obvious to me, but its kinda deep seeded and i dont know why. on the other hand, i trust complete strangers over family... and it bugs me sooooo much that i am accusatory to those i love over "single-serving" friends at the grocery store, or convert, or wherever i may be

Thanks for your response. I seem to have built up a good feel for people to trust, but sometimes my heart will rule instead of my brain, which is not always good.

If I just meet you then I trust you until you lie or do something dishonest. If your a boyfriend/girlfriend of mine then you have to earn it

That is a good take on things. I have tried to be like this.. but sometimes i will get this little voice in my head that tell sme to be very careful. :) Thanks for your reply x

That is true in my opinion. I will respect someone when I meet them and become friends and all but that trust does have to be built. you said it best!

Why would you want to keep on trusting someone after they broke your trust? I can see MAYBE depending on the situation to give someone a second chance.Thanks for your reply.

i do have a habit of trusting people easily , its just my nature even though i have been duped once i still do not wish to stop it i have made a lot of friends on this basis

Yep, I'm the same way. It takes me awhile to warm up to people until I gradually feel more comfortable sharing with them and trusting them.

I used to but then i got hurt, when you are younger i think that you do trust a lot easier than you do when you are older.
Life expierences teach you different as when you are a child and you do not know any different,
Life certantly does get harder once you get older.
