Unexpected Visitors

The wife and I did a lot of gardening and shopping Sunday. She got her haircut. After the yard work and lunch we talked about a long bike ride but decided against it as we were both wore out. Luckily we did as our daughter and son in law dropped by unexpectedly. But it ws a nice surprise. They brought their ferrt Timmy and Missy their baby racoon. She is a sweetie. She roamed the huge back yard and loved playing right next to the sprinkler as it was on. Isn't she adorable? So have you had an unexpected but pleasant visitor recently?

Ahhhhhhhhh......so that's what you have been up to all day. I was beginning to wonder being I haven't seen you start or respond to any discussions today. We very seldom have visitors. Last time was ummmmmm....heck, I don't remember. lol When did Minnie get a racoon? Thought it was illegal to keep them. It is here, anyways.

Her hubby found it the other night standing on a highway during a downpour without a mama or siblings nearby so brought it home. Missy is a doll isn't she? I had so much fun. I don't know if it's illegal to keep one. I wouldn't dount it though. Not my worries anyhow. 
I was busy today and Sundays I usually don't do a lot here till late at night.

Well we had fun also. I was glad Andy decided to stop by and visit. Its nice to have a hubby that likes to get out of the house sometimes.

The last unexpected visitor I had was a bee. I found in roaming my carpet this afternoon, and gladly killed it. My Sherlock was disappointed because he thought he had found a new friend. You know I have a Grandpa Bob of my very own, and I think that Grandpa Bobs are pretty cool people. At least the two I know.

Missy is so cute. It is a good thing that you and your wife got wore out from all you had done so you didn't miss your family coming to visit.
The last unexpected but pleasant visitors I had was the day before Mother's Day when my daughter and my grandson come and surprised me for Mother's Day. It was a great surprise and they got to stay until Monday as my grandson had that day off from school. They all kept that surprise from me, even my husband and son knew they were coming and didn't give anything away to me.

We get a visitor who is not so unexpected these days because we know he and his family live nearby, and that is Mr. Urban Fox.
Considering we live only 1.5 miles from the City Centre we have lots of trees and fields around us and the foxes are ell at home there. There must be plenty of smaller critters for them to go hunting and also there is the attraction of our garbage bins!
They're so bold (or tame?) and when the security light goes on in the back yard at night e kno they're coming to call.

Cute. At the farm many years ago there was a red fox that was pretty ragged lokking that wuld eat he cats food. It would let anyone get within arms reach then she'd moved away.

Its been along time i never saw a racoon. To see the baby is a pleasant for me. Animals is sure so eacy to love us. Make us feel like a bigger person. This picture is cute Grandpa Bob. Make me warm inside. I wish i can touch Missy and Timmy.

Wow! That is cool sunday! We had last week not this weekend..It was rainy day so for sure our friends prefer to stay in their home..LOL, LAst week, our friend with her 2 girls gave us a visit, we end up watching movies and my husband prefer food for all of us! It was really fun!

Hello there, last week my brother-in-law who lives in London came to visit us and his family. As always, he would stay with his parents. He arrived on Thursday and we planned to meet him on the coming Sunday as we were quite busy with our daily life. To our surprise, he invited himself over on Friday afternoon. Fortunately, it was weekends that we managed to prepare a homemade and welcome meal for him and it turned out to be a relaxing and wonderful evening. As he said he could not wait to meeting us…

What a cute little baby raccoon. I have never seen a pet raccoon before. The only unexpected visitors we have had lately are the ticks that the dogs bring in with them. Fortunately, the dogs are not allowed to roam the house, so no ticks anywhere but their room.

OH how sweet.Aren't you glad you stayed home,Yes just recently all three of my girls and their families showed up on a Friday evening neither knew the other was coming and as you my husband and I was walking out the door when the first one showed up.It was a pleasant surprise since I hadn't seen the grandkids in about a month. Have a great evening.

I saw the photo. That sweetie is really cute. I am wondering how it feels to have such an animal home. Because I want a pet and apparently my mom would not be OK with that. She thinks animals will make place dirty. After having a cat years ago, my mom would not allow us to have another pet again.

All animals will make a mes somehow or another at one time. It's our duty to keep it clean. So with that let her know you'de be responsible for keeping it kept clean etc.

Yes, I did. Yesterday my mother-in-law and father-in-law showed up without calling... This is something that has been going on for quite a while now.. Well I did not open my door, and they ended up having to wait in the hot sun for about 10 minutes, until my husband came to the door. Since they can't call before they come, then they will have to take a hint.. It would be very rude for me to tell them this, so why not just do it with actions.. Hopefully they will get the hint.. If not, too bad for them..

Cream, I went though something like that with my soon to be inlaws. We bought a house a few blocks away from them and they would just show up a few times a week. Sometimes , they would even walk in ( well fiance's uncle) My fiance was just as annoyed and had a talk with them. Things worked out thankfully . Still his uncle and gram will show up at his parents, but most days they dont mind. Just me and my fiance like peace.

She is so beautiful! I bet you are having so much fun with her! I can't say that I have had any unexpected visitors lately. But we do have a houseful right now with my three girls and two of their friends.

My fiance spent our whole weekend doing yard work, and I finally planted my sunflower seeds. My brother and me are always just dropping by our parents house as well. They love it!! Aww, cute pic! I wanna get one some day . I even thought about a baby skunk years ago.I dont know though with the smell, but i think they remove the gland. Not sure on that one though.
