Who are we supposed to love more? your spouce or your children? The boat you're riding is sinking, you can only save one? Who would you save? your 4 year old child or your wife? Heard it on the radio today, it was a heated debate between the radio jock and the viewers... I'd have to say I love my wife more. Not being selfish or anything, but you can always have more kids...

I would save the child. My husband has lived so many years unlike my child who's about to start his life. Besides my husband could swim not unlike a child. And Im sure my husband would definitely understand if I choose to save the child.

Thats motherly care! One of the peeps in the discussion said, the same thing: Got to give you child a fighting chance in life.

I love my husband but I would save my daughter first. I think that is the difference between men and women. Most women will choose to save their children first while most men would choose the wife first.

I got that feeling too, that men would save their wives before their children. I guess its also maternal instinct. The discussion also said something along the line, that "if a husband tried to save the wife first, she would insist on him saving the kids first"

I would always chose my children. I can't image someone not picking their children first...but to each his own. After caring for them and loving them, they'll always be first and I'd give my life for them if it came for that.

Yeah, i guess that would make the decision easier. But my kids know how to swim, my wife doesn't! hehe

Gosh it is hard my children are all grown up but I have to say I would say them first, as I have to say I love them more and they have their lives in front of them and their children to take care of.
