When i was a few months pregnant with our first child my husband took me fishing out in a small boat, he almost knocked me out and into the water when he paddled under a hanging tree limb. For the rest of the day i sat there with a death grip on the sides of the boat terrified that he was trying to kill me!He kept asking what was wrong and i kept saying nothing (hoping if he didn't relize that i knew what he was trying to do he would change his mind) Any other time this thought would never have entered my mind but i am scared to death of water and can't swim a lick! Of course it was hormones and after getting on dry land and calming down i realized how ridiculuos i was acting.I still ask him every once in awhile if he remembers when he tried to kill me. He just rolls his eyes and gets snippy (he still dosen't think it's funny). LOL. So has your hormones ever went haywire and left you feeling like an idiot?

You really thought he was trying to do away with you? ROFL!!! I know it isn't funny, at least it wasn't then. Now it's funny. But those hormones can do weird stuff. The only thing I remember about my last pregnancy was everything tasted like it had coconut in it. I would even read the lables on stuff because it tasted so strong. The only other strange thing was with my first, I absolutely would not go fishing, I had this unnatural fear of getting bit by a snake. I know we have to take care anytime we fish here. But this was such an unnatural fear. Later Granny said I marked Matt because when he was a baby he would dart his tongue in and out like a snake. Do I believe in stuff like that? Not really, but it was odd.

Honestly i did. I don't really know why except i was in a tiny boat (which i wouldn't have minded if i had been on dry land) in a river (you know i'm terrified of water)and a few nights before i had watched a movie about a man that had killed his wife because she was pregnant and he didn't want the responsibility of children. I know it was that movie, because i had nightmares about it for weeks. As for Matt, he just had a cute little tongue and wanted to show it off! At the time it WAS NOT funny but now i laugh everytime i think about it (James dose not).

I know what you mean it sucks being pregnant sometimes. My hormones have been abit wacky too. I will snap out at my hubby and kids for the smallest thing. I have yet too accuse my hubby of trying to kill me yet but I still have 4 months to go lol.

Ohh Yes, cjgrooms. I was about 4 months pregnant and my husband and I both worked at the same hospital. We worked the night shift. It was routine for us to meet in the cafeteria every morning after clocking out and eat breakfast together. This hospital cafe had the best and biggest egg omletes you've ever seen. Anyway, one morning after clocking out and almost running to the cafe to eat because I was eating for two; my husband informed me that he got off 20 minutes early and he was ready to go home. I said "but I haven't eaten and I'm STARVING". He said he would make me an omlete at home; he was tired and ready to go. Needless to say I pouted all the way home and frankly got really pissed off by the time we pulled in the driveway. Of course I couldn't hold it in any longer and exploded. I told him a lot of very not so nice things that would make a sailor blush. He then started to laugh at me and told me I was over-reacting. Ohh No He Didn't!! I then proceeded to grab the broom and to this day I could swear I had enough strength to break the d#$@ thing over my knee. Well after much cussing, huffing and puffing for 5 minutes, I realized It wasn't going to break; I gave up and just cried, cried and cried some more. My husband got a video of me trying this impossible feat for a 120 pound, pregnant, pissed off woman.

Was the man trying to make you kill him? They just don't have a clue do they?

I loved being pregnant! I know! I know! I'm one of those sickening people who can't stop talking about the joys of pregnancy. Really though, I'm more of a hormonal mess when I'm not pregnant. My body still craves those pregnancy hormones, but we can't afford to have another baby now. And, it's not good timing. But, yes, my hormones do make me act like a dingbat monthly. I am afraid that I alienate my friends. I hope they will understand that it's not me, it's just the hormones. My poor hubby is always surprised at the tornado of emotions spewed in his direction. He takes it so personally and I have to remind him that I'm the one who needs his emotional support, not the other way around. Be well!

I was acting like an idiot, but just so you know, if in the future your wife gets pregnant and says something equally idiotic DO NOT, what ever you do, tell her she is acting like an idiot, if you do she may well try to wring you neck!

Surprised? Nope, he was shocked and his feelings were hurt, it didn't help that the only explanation i could give him was hormones. That to a man makes absolutely NO sense at all.

Hi tere CJ grooms! That's funny. Well, what I only remember that is similar to that is when I felt like crying and my husband was so worried and he keeps on asking me why I am crying I said I just feel sad and when he asked why, I said I don't know why.
