Should smoking be allowed in public places?

I think it should be banned from all restaurants, but not all public places.. It's pretty much banned in all restaurants, hospitals, schools and so on as it is.. A smoker should be able to smoke in their own home and car, but should have respect for the non-smokers as well. I know there is non-smoking areas in a restaurant, but that really doesn't help. You can still smell it from the other end. So either make restaurants for smokers only and non-smokers, or just bann it all together in the restaurants. Smoke before you come in to eat or something.. And I'm an x smoker and I know smokers don't want limits on where they can smoke, but its happening and we should all learn to work together. As for the hospitals, I know you can't even smoke in your car, you have to be off the property, same as the schools and I agree with that, I think places like that, it should be banned. But not all public places... I don't even see how that could even be done?

I agree with your opinion that smoke should be forbidden in public. I am sensitive to the smoking, and also not allow my BF to smoke.

NO, definitely no. I have horrible experinece with that and Im kind of allergic to smoke that I cannot stop coughing when I accidentally inhaled some. I hope smokers should be more responsible and think of others before they decide to pop stick into their mouth and smoke on public.

No,a BIG No...it should not be aloud.It doesn't do any good,it harms!.The effect is more dangerous and harmful on passive smokers than active ones so it need not to be aloud.

No it should not. There are persons who has sinus problem. Whenever they are around smokers it affect them. There are also the children to consider. Smoking is totally wrong for your health. So persons should smoke in their own private home or in the clubs that allow smoking.

NO. Smoking should NOT be allowed in public places. Smokers should be able to have the dicipline to just refrain from smoking while in public. I feel bad that they feel like they have to smoke, but I really don't feel like having to deal with smoke all around me.

Hi! I think it can be allowed in open public places, for example, stadiums, parks... But in closed places, like shoppings, bars... it's not a good idea! Oh, but these places used to have an appropriate local for smokers!

I offen smoking ,but I don't smoking in public places,because some peoples dont't like this. so I hope smoker when you smoking don't in public places!!!!
