New flavor at Starbucks

I went to Starbucks on my way to work last night (keep in mind Im not a big coffee drinker, just occasionally.....and it has to be flavored coffee. I cant drink plain black coffee) and they had this new flavor. It was Mint Mocha Chip Frapucchino. I thought that sounded pretty good so I ordered it. It is definately a winner! I think that is my new favorite flavor!

I'm like you, i'm not a big coffee drinker, but when I do it has to be flavored too. I have tried that flavor, but I didn't like it as much. I'm glad you liked it. I know that it is only out for a limited time.

Even though it is a "summer only" drink, you can always just get the java chip or the mocha (chocolate w/no chips) and add a shot of mint flavoring. Around Christmas a local coffee house here had a Andes Mint Mocha which I LOVE. When I go to Starbucks I will order the Mocha Latte w/a shot of mint syrup.

I had that a year or two ago, but it's only around for a limited time each year. It seems to be a summer thing, but I think mint and chocolate would be a good one to feature around Christmas too. It's a great flavor combination.

Stop! Don't tell me this! It sounds like something fattening that I would like! Though I know they do have the "light" options on the Frappucinos now, I am sure once I make it a Venti it won't be so light. :)

That does sound good. I need to try that. Better yet, I need to talk The Second Cup into stealing that idea, so I won't have to go too far to ind one. LOL

I have to admit I am surprised that its a summer only thing - when I used to get coffee at Borders years ago they would have a similar flavor, but it was available only during the Christmas holiday season.
