So here I am just turning on the computer this morning, and my son is watching his cartoons before school. When all the sudden a huge cow comes walking through our front yard!
I have to say that living out in the country has been alright at times even though I miss the town we've moved away from last year and it will be exactly one year next month.
I've seen my neighbors riding their horses down the road and just typical country things that you would expect out here but a cow walking through my yard?
I'm guessing somehow it escaped from it's home.
I'm not sure who owns this cow and if I should call some place about it?

wow! it would be so cool for me to see one in front of our home. im jealous coz your home seems to be in such a nice country.
i love country life and i am hoping someday we'll be able to get the chance to live in a place like yours.
unfortunately, the area we are looking right now is not a place where i can see horses or other kind of animals i think the biggest i saw is the great dane in the neighbor's house LOL
i hope the cow is home now - safely. he must get bored in his yard so he decided to roam around and find something to amuse him LOL
anyway, if i am in your case i will surely call the authority to inform them OR call my neighbor and ask if they know who owns the cow.

At first when we moved out here last year in July we just loved it even though the support from my mom wasn't too great, then she ended up coming around and finally understood this was our only choice to move out this way because there was nothing in town that was affordable for us.
Now I feel like I"m missing alot of my friends and a friend and I want to start up our own business doing a daycare. With the price of gas right now up and all, doesn't help my hubby's or my budget with other things.
My friend and I have so much work to do to get our Daycare started and I feel just useless sitting out here in the country not being able to do a thing. My hubby and I can't afford another vehical so that's out of the question. He needs the vehical for work as he works fulltime days and I'm only part time nights. We often find ourselves living paycheck to paycheck and just barely making it from one check to the next so we have to budget out our spendings on fuel and food for the week oh and not to mention we both smoke too so there's another expense.
I'm getting off topic here but yeah seeing that cow going through our yard was quite humorous this morning.
Thanks for your comment

hello there again,
sorry to hear about all the troubles, guess my family is not alone
it is really sad knowing that you have to give up something that means a lot to you just to get by now.
i hate to see most of the news regarding the gas prices going too high and the salary is stuck to what it started - just not fair.
i dont work, my husband is the only one who is working so i feel bad sometimes coz i know i am not helping him financially. we're lucky that he works at home so that helps us not to spend so much money for the gas except of course during weekends but we are trying to manage that too so we can save for the future family.
daycare center is really a good one to start, i think you can get a great idea in the movie daddy daycare. i always wanted to have one but i want it to be like a home school kind of where parents drop off their kids in my yard and i teach them.
we tried to arrange for one when we are in china but it was very difficult and way too complicated with all the rules and regulations they are demanding so we just give up.
anyway, i feel your sentiments of feeling sad and bored at home. i hope the business you are planning will start soon so you can have something you are happy to do and will give you extra income as well.
smoking is not good both in pocket and in health, i dont agree with those who do it but i respect one's choice as long as they are not pushing it to me and be like 'em.
i wish you all the best.
wish we are neighbors i want to be part of it too, oh well.
btw, i hope the cow is home and safe now.
takecare

Well I just watched it and told my son to look out the window as I was shocked but laughing. I thought it was going to head towards my front door which made me nervous because I don't trust cows or any other animals that are bigger and taller than I am. I guess it's because of a bad experience when I was younger. My friend's dad lived on a farm and he had a cow and a horse and I got cornered by them.
This cow in my yard yesterday morning just walked quickly through the front yard and through the bushes, but as I mentioned before, he/she looked like they were on a mission lol.
