If you do the shopping for your family as I do, you’re probably not surprised to find out that agricultural prices rose quite rapidly in May. In fact the monthly price changes are beginning to look disturbingly like annual price changes. This is not good. But the really interesting stuff is in the details. Foods seem to be rising in price in direct proportion to their proximity to ethanol subsidies. Feed grain is up an amazing 41% in the past year. Fruit and nuts are down 3% over the same period. Why? Because we turn corn into ethanol, but we do not do the same with walnuts or bananas. Here in the center of the world economy, this means high food prices. Out at the edges, it means famine. Has anyone noticed the gut size on Al Gore? Now I thought we were suppose to leave a small carbon footprint, does not eating have something to do with this? As Al Gore's gut grows, our wallet srinks.

Your observation concerning Al Gore's girth is spot on. I'd be willing to bet, however, that he feels entitled. Afterall, he has done so much good for the world, made so many 'green' investments, and been such a beacon of truth and enlightenment for the masses of ignorant humanity, that if ol'lardbutt can't overeat, who should?

WOW! He's really balloned since he's left the VP office. What has he been on? Or, since I'm Chinese, being a Vice-President is not nearly as as prosperous as being an environmental doccumentary maker. Seriously, I remember he was quite a trim and presentable fellow when he was on the Clinton Camaign in 90 and even when he was running for office in 2000 he looked good. What the hell happened here? Or perhaps he's upset with Ralph Nader so he's trying to show the world what environmental crusaders really look like type of thing?

The only thing Al Gore is thinking of is how he can benefit from his alarmism. When you put the food supply into competition with the food supply, then it stands to reason that the price of food is going to go up and people will starve. Al Gore is an elitist who talks about carbon footprints of the everyday person while leaving a huge on of his own. This is one sure way to detect someone who does not believe the things that he is preaching. He is no different then a televangelist with the expensive clothes, fancy cars, big houses and extravagant jewelry. The only difference is that Gore preaching the Global Warming Gospel while doing none of the things that he claims need to be done to stop it. Man made global warming is a false religion and Al Gore is a false prophet. He is the leader of a cult, and his followers are drinking the KoolAid big time. According to Gore, we are leaving a footprint just by existing, so yeah, eating is probably part of it. His body has to get fat just to match his fat head.

I thought this clown was for saving the world but is seems that he is more for eating the world. Al gore is the biggest fraud in american history. There are plenty of theories why the earth is warming and it is not global warming.
